Introducing the Kritical Design Partner Program
Today, we're introducing the Kritical Design Partner Program, and inviting a select group of partners to help shape the next generation of construction and legal document intelligence software.
We’re looking for early design partners from across the industry—construction contractors, architects, consultants, project managers, and construction law firms—who are eager to bring deep, real-world expertise to the challenges of construction and legal document workflows.
While we didn’t coin the term design partner, we strongly believe it represents the most effective path for building and selling B2B software, especially a platform as ambitious as Kritical, where our mission is to develop world-class AI software to extract, organize and find knowledge in construction and legal documents.
A design partner is an early, highly engaged customer who works closely with our product and engineering teams to shape our software tools before they're more widely released. This model has evolved over decades as software development shifted from the old “build it and ship it” mentality toward a more user-centered, iterative approach. The best products today are built with customers, not just for them.
Now that Kritical’s core infrastructure is complete and stable, we're entering a phase where we can rapidly iterate on features, validate real-world workflows, and refine the platform in close collaboration with our design partners.
As a design partner, you’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to refine your implementation long before full commercial rollout. Rather than simply testing features, you’ll bring real projects, real documents, and real challenges to the table, helping ensure Kritical tackles problems that truly matter in your environment. In return, you gain early access to advanced capabilities, direct influence over the product roadmap, and hands-on support as we tailor the solution to your workflows. This program ensures that the organizations who join us early will directly influence the product’s direction and benefit from capabilities tailored to their needs. The journey from design partner to a paid client happens in five phases and follows a structured path that balances rapid learning with rigorous validation.
The journey from design partner to a paid client happens in five phases and follows a structured path that balances rapid learning with rigorous validation.
Phase 1: Initial Alignment [Week 0-1] Goal: Confirm fit, define success, and agree on scope
Phase 2: Onboarding & Setup [Week 1-2] Goal: Prepare a safe environment to test the software
Phase 3: Collaborative Product Iteration [Week 2-6] Goal: Work hand-in-hand with you to fine-tune features and workflows
Phase 4: Pilot Rollout & Internal Validation [Month 2-3] Goal: Prove value at scale within your organization
Phase 5: Commercialization & Full Adoption [Month 3+] Goal: Transition from design partner to paid client
For enterprises, joining as a design partner is the most responsible and cost-effective way to evaluate new software. Instead of committing budget upfront, you can explore Kritical in depth, validate its impact on real projects, and ensure it integrates seamlessly with your existing processes. This approach minimizes risk, provides unparalleled visibility into how the platform is evolving, and allows your teams to shape capabilities before formal procurement begins. By the time you’re ready to make a commercial decision, you’ll have a clear, evidence-based understanding of Kritical’s value to your organization.
